Task: Finalize Take-On Activities
The take-on activities For In-Scope Projects must be finalized in agreement with the relevant stakeholders. The Responsibility Matrix For In-Scope Projects should be revisited, if required.

Main Description

Immediately prior to service commencement, the WIP Lead must finalize cut-over / take-on activities with Client, incumbent Capgemini, other service provider (as appropriate) for in scope projects.

Typically, this should include confirmation that the activities and actions agreed during the assessment prior to finalizing take-on activities have been completed.

If there have been any late variances this may include:

  • Finalizing variant consequences for projects that go live before handover
  • Finalizing variant consequences for projects that Capgemini are to complete
  • Finalizing variant consequences for projects that the Client, incumbent or other service provider should complete (post service handover)
  • Finalizing variant consequences for any projects that transition is dependent on that have not progressed to plan
  • Finalizing variant consequences for any projects that are dependent on transition that have not progressed to plan.

All the finalized and agreed actions for in scope projects at Service Commencement must be documented and a sign-off must be obtained on the same from the relevant stakeholders as per the agreement. Lessons learnt repository must be updated, if required.
